In seinem aktuellen Shooting thematisiert der LGBTQ+-Fotograf Jordan ROSSI c/o RANKIN GROUP die Kosmetikwelt. Mit einer Reihe von Beauty-Looks, die sich auf einfachen, alltäglichen Glamour konzentrieren und vollständig vegane oder tierversuchsfreie Produkte verwenden, zeigt er Dir was heutzutage möglich ist - ohne Tierleid.
Die Motive entstanden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Makeup-Artist Pablo Rodriguez : “It’s always the right time to question where our beauty products come from. But now, vegan-based beauty materials are definitely easier to find, and there are a lot more of them available. Just go to any make-up brand website and search for “vegan”, and something will come up. That was not even an option a couple of years ago.”
Sinn der Produktion war es, tragbare und nicht komplexe über-kreative Make-up-Looks zu zeigen : Es ging Jordan und Pablo darum, die Menschen zu ermutigen, auf vegane Schönheitsprodukte umzusteigen. Der Cast steht im Mittelpunkt des Shoots, der ganz selbstverständlich sowohl Männer als auch Frauen als Teil des Line-Ups präsentiert.
Fotograf Jordan Rossi, Initiator der Zusammenarbeit, führt aus: “Everyone wears make-up today. It’s not restricted to gender, so it was important to craft a series of images that reflects our reality with a cast of different genders and skin tones. And it’s important for beauty brands to understand and recognize that. Their audiences are changing, but so are the values of the audience. Just five years ago, vegan products weren’t a priority for most people, but vegan living is now at the forefront of our cultural consciousness.”
