FOMME is the Berlin-based brand of designer Sarah Effenberger. After finishing her MA degree at the University of the Arts in Berlin in 2015, she launched her own brand which was shown at the VOGUE Salon during the Berlin Fashion Week in January 2016. The philosophy behind her designs is to create a new image of contemporary men’s fashion and to combine mens- and womenswear with an unconventional approach. Nostalgic references found in the imagery of the mid-20th century when daily wardrobe was still aiming for an elegant appearance. In her collections, Sarah Effenberger transfers this wistful picture into a modern context and adds a playful and sensual shape to the men’s fashion world of today. FOMME celebrates the decoration of the male body. The latest campaign was photographed by Elizaveta PORODINA c/o SONJA HEINTSCHEL. fomme.de

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is just one of Walt Disney's famous stories which were made into films. Naturally, the story is a romantic fairy tale with playful elements. The world of Disney also exhibits humor and a certain joie de vivre. And of course every little girl's heart will miss a beat over these stories. Designer Aysen Bitzer has created a collection for Disney with a creative twist which takes us into a magical world where we meet many old friends: Snow White, Chip and Dale, the Seven Dwarfs, or Thumper." Christian BORTH c/o SONJA HEINTSCHEL photographed the result. Find out more on the website of the Munich-based designer:  aybi.com

At the end of the 1930s, the grandfather of Guya Merkle, Rudolf Merkle, founded jewelry wholesaler Rudolf Merkle in Pforzheim, the stronghold of the German jewelery industry. Inspired by his Italian wife Eva Gaietta, a relative to the royal house de la Serra, the jewels created by the company increasingly became more and more elegant. When Eddy Merkle suddenly died in 2007, the faith of the company was entirely undecided. His, then 21-year-old, daughter Guya Merkle decided to change the company according to her ideas completely. At the Baselworld 2013, she launched the brand VIERI. Already connecting tradition with the modern age by choosing the new brand name: VIERI was the second name of her father. Since 2015, VIERI is based in Berlin and uses the creative vibe in the city to adjust internationally. The new campaign was phographed by Marco TRUNZ c/o SONJA HEINTSCHEL. vieri.com
