Today, Toni Sailer is represented in 32 countries and works with 250 carefully selected distribution partners in renowned ski resorts and major cities. A subsidiary in North America is also present. The family business is still managed by founder Hans Taubenberger and his son Kevin Taubenberger as CEO and Managing Director.
And this is how the label came to be: Hans Taubenberger was himself an avid skier with experience in the textile industry and was looking for a way to combine functional skiwear with stylish design. He was inspired by the style, elegance, and charisma of Toni Sailer. It is said that Toni Sailer personally transferred the trademark rights to Hans Taubenberger, marking the launch of the brand. The first collection was presented in 2006.
Anton Engelbert "Toni" Sailer (born November 17, 1935, in Kitzbühel, Tyrol; died August 24, 2009, in Innsbruck) was an Austrian alpine ski racer, actor, and singer. With his three Olympic gold medals and seven world championship titles, he is considered one of the most successful alpine ski racers of the modern world.
