Foundation, Mascara, Concealer, Lippenstift ..... Glück kann man manchmal scheinbar doch kaufen. Das Multi-Talent SERGE LUTENS steht für Fantasie, für Schönheit, für Individualität - ausgelebt in Mode, in Düften und nicht zuletzt in Makeup.

Für SERGE LUTENS drehte die Regisseurin Betina DU TOIT c/o LGA MGMT den hier gezeigten Spot. Die Postproduktion betreute ONE HUNDRED BERLIN.

Auf seiner Webseite lesen wir wie Serge Lutens zum Makeup kam : 'In 1967, Christian Dior, who was preparing to launch its makeup line, called upon him. For the House of Dior, he would create colors, styles and images. Finally, his vision was unified through photography. In the early 1970s, the famous Editor-in-Chief of US Vogue, Diana Vreeland, was unstinting in her enthusiasm : “Serge Lutens, Revolution of Makeup!” His success was resounding. Serge Lutens became the symbol of the very freedom created through makeup, for an entire new generation. In 1974, mirroring his taste for films and the legendary actresses in them, he made a short with the title ‘Les Stars.’ During this period, he traveled widely, exploring Morocco and later Japan. These two countries, with their rich and yet so different cultures, came together in him and confirmed his way of seeing and feeling.'

Der 1942 im französischen Lille geborene Serge Lutens, der seit gut 40 Jahren in Marokko beheimatet ist, ist längst selber zur lebenden Marke geworden. Im Jahr 2007 erhielt Serge Lutens die Auszeichnung „Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters“, bevor er 2014 die Serge Lutens Foundation gründete. Diese hat ihren Sitz in dem Haus, das Serge bereits 1974 kaufte, im historischen Herzen der Medina von Marrakesch. Mit über 3.000 m2 ist es heute ein lebendiges Zeugnis eines Künstlers, der zeitlebens Normen brach und immer noch bricht - und sich nie auf seinen Lorbeeren ausruht.
