“Shooting for Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi was amazing; a wide range of lifestyle images from locations including the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi to the impressive rooftop of Berklee College of Music (from Norman Foster Architects). It was a lot of fun and an interesting challenge to create ten distinct stand-alone ads to showcase the variety on offer at Saadiyat Island,” the photographer says about the production for Momentum Worldwide with Dejavu Media in the luxury resort. “This was the first underwater shoot for me, loved the challenge of bringing all the elements together.”
Just a few minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi and twenty minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, the gorgeous, natural 27-square-kilometer Island of Happiness has been undergoing a remarkable transformation into a world-class leisure, residential, business and cultural hub. It houses cultural assets, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first universal museum in the Arab world, with loaned French artwork from the Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and Centre Pompidou. In the future, it will include Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. All of these stunning spaces have been designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winners.
