'Raw, dreamlike and psychedelic, SYNCHRODOGS create images with a beautiful disregard for the ordinary. Pushing boundaries and challenging conventions, their images delve into a strange limbo between reverie and realism to open our eyes to a world of bewilderment and freethinking, where anything goes' - so beschreibt sich das Künstlerduo SYNCHRODOGS alias Roman Noven & Tania Shcheglova, das ab sofort von SHOTVIEW eruopaweit vertreten wird.
Hier auf GoSee zeigen wir Euch ihren Film für TSVIT HAUTE COUTURE. 'The TSVIT couture collection is a cultural experiment, the experience of restoring forgotten manufacturing technologies that were considered archaisms, and their introduction onto the modern agenda. The poetic art project ‘TSVIT’ is a collaboration between the brand, Synchrodogs and stylist Julie Pelipas.'
'Roman Noven (born 1984) and Tania Shcheglova (born 1989) are the duo Synchrodogs and live in Ivano-Frankivsk, a small city about 600 km (370 miles) from Kyiv at the edge of the Carpathians. As artists who see their existence as an odyssey, they have traversed the American West – for their ‘Supernatural’ series which has garnered them widespread recognition – but also Portugal, Iceland and Sri Lanka. Even so, it is at home, in the Carpathians, that they feel most at ease. Developing a practice that melds aspects of documentary photography with a more conceptual approach, all while maintaining a strong presence in the world of fashion, they are often sought out by influential magazines of the moment, like Stylist, Vogue Ukraine, Tush, WSJ, Metal Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, and Purple, but also by independent music labels such as Warp, and by brands including Bimba y Lola, Shiseido, Kenzo and Urban Outfitters.'
