Stefan DOTTER c/o TAKE AGENCY had the opportunity to accompany renowned choreographer Sharon Eyal and her wonderful dance team during the world premiere of “Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart” at Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum. The Israeli choreographer and her company L-E-V (Hebrew for heart) were first-time guests at the Ruhr Triennale and a highlight of the last weeks of the festival this September: “The Brutal Journey of the Heart” is dedicated to the endless and most complicated topic of love.
DIOR designed bespoke costumes for each performer. The designs by Maria Grazia Chiuri aim to evoke the heart’s sensations depicting various emotions that reinterpret engravings of German theologian Daniel Cramer: sorrow, happiness, affection and healing. Sahron Eyal also choreographed the dance performances for last year’s DIOR Spring/Summer 2019 show in Paris.
