Kristina Falke, International PR FALKE & BURLINGTON, is looking forward to a day (and night) full of inspiration at the UPDATE in Berlin as a GoSee Awards judge

“Since I like GoSee a lot, I am happy to take part as a judge”, says Kristina Falke, PR Director of the international German brand. Kristina heads the international PR work, which she usually carries out from Paris, her main stay. This is probably also home to the inspiration of the campaign’s aesthetics and unmistakable looks. She dedicates every spare minute to fashion and photography and collects books on the city of love.

According to FALKE its scenery is populated by ‘indefatigable globetrotters, stubborn individualists, polyglot adventurers, fanatic perfectionists, sensitive intellectuals and diehard aesthetes’. Clearly Kristina Falke is a perfect match for our UPDATE Salon. We are delighted Kristina Falke will be coming to Berlin to judge Fashion/Editorial entries with her cosmopolitan eye.

The FALKE Group, based in Schmallenberg Germany has a long tradition. Founded in 1895, the family business is now in its 4th generation. Franz-Peter and Paul Falke manage the group. In addition to their iconic hosiery range, Falke produces trendy sportswear for both sexes and underwear. Thanks to its innovative products and high quality design the FALKE Group’s leading share of the market is flourishing. In 2008 FALKE Group purchased British brand BURLINGTON.

Tea time, darling. BURLINGTON’s coming collection recalls its British heritage. In 2008 FALKE Group purchased the British brand. Photographer Esther Haase shot the campaign images in just the right look. The women’s collection is particularly feminine thanks to its light, shimmering or iridescent threads. The collection also includes a new short sock in a feminine micro modal silk mix.

The Men’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection focuses on blue and goes from indigo to jeans colours, to aqua tones. An intense fuchsia adds a harmonious touch. The colour palette is completed with neutral tones such as rosewood in combination with earthy shades such as khaki and camel, colour accents are set in burnt yellow.

Your legs are beautiful! The Circle Collection of light knitwear socks and tights is inspired by floral prints and structures. Powdery colour nuances such as Pearl, Violetta and Laurel feature in the designs. Our eye is drawn to floral designs on net tights and elaborate leaves on socks. Subtle light shimmer effects are created through viscose and viscose linen mixtures – this might sound a little technical but is soft to touch and simply yummy.

According to Falke, architectural basic patterns are the inspirational source of the ‘Square’ Collection theme. Small graphic patterns and opulent ornamental designs are put to top use on sheer tights. Feminine accentuated panty parts turn the new fashionable tights into genuine eye-catchers. The use of special production processes such as 3D-knitting technology result in raised stair and star effects. The highlight of the collection is an oversized, dominant net with a shiny look.
