GoSee presents the ‘Maschin’ music video out now and currently causing quite the stir in Vienna and the indie scene in other German speaking countries. Next thing you know indie kids will all be driving yellow cars with yellow gloves. The release of the first ‘Plansch’ video in summer 2013 already had all eyes on the young punky four piece from Vienna founded in 2009. Director Antonin Pevny filmed the videos in the planned colour trilogy.
In ‘Maschin’ Antonin Pevny captures Maurice Ernst the frontman of the band in and around a bright yellow Lamborghini Diablo. Usually the car is used as a symbol in the music video to facilitate bragging, cruising or simply as a babe magnet. However Antonin, opts for another approach, using the car as the singer’s absolute object of desire. The sports car, which is simply parked there becomes the sexual object of desire thanks to the singer’s performance and his attitude. We like.
About – since 2007 Antonin Pevny has worked as a self employed producer and freelance director, specialising in music video and corporate short film merging art and industry.
