On a trip with powerful beauties under the Sicilian sun… The Cavalcade Classiche is one of the most exclusive events of Ferrari and attracts crews of many nationalities.
Countless serpentines, narrow roads, enchanting volcanic landscapes, the Sicilian audience tirelessly lining the streets with yellow flags and eyes brightly shining... ANKE LUCKMANN photographed the fifth edition of the Ferrari Cavalcade Classiche for FERRARI magazine and Annual. As such an exclusive Ferrari event, participation in the Cavalcade is only possible upon invitation.
FERRARI : “This unique event brought 65 vintage Ferraris and their owners from all over the world to the spectacular mountain setting of Trentino Alto-Adige in northern Italy. The Cavalcade traversed extraordinary scenic routes through the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, the Trentino valleys and Lake Garda.
Ferrari’s international guests also participated in a three-day regularity race from Pinzolo, in the upper Val Rendena, and across the imposing Dolomite landscapes. The cars paraded and were displayed in the historic centers of Cavalese, Merano, Riva del Garda and Trento, and represented key moments in the Prancing Horse’s 75-year history of elegant design and technological innovation.
The Cavalcade Classiche is designed to bring owners together to share authentic and memorable experiences, to create a single community united by its passion for the Prancing Horse.”
