For MEXX Eyewear, photographer Esther Haase shot a new campaign in Barcelona. The resulting image series moves effortlessly between everyday life and subtle staging – set on the street, in barbershops, gyms and cars. Always close to the protagonists, the images are driven by atmosphere rather than attitude. Esther Haase’s approach focuses on proximity, directness and moments that feel observed rather than constructed.

As the daughter of an artist and a photography and design professor, Esther grew up surrounded by the world of photography. After professional training in classical dance Esther spent two years on-stage before studying graphic design with a focus on photography. Since then she has been dancing around the world with her camera and head full of creative visions.
International commercial and editorial clients, exhibitions, awards and published books including ‚Fashion in motion‘,, Sexy Book’,, Amazonen’, Esther’s World‘ and more have all contributed to her growing success. Esther lives in Hamburg and London. Her two children currently live in New York.
