Erik Dreyer photographed an elaborate fashion show in his studio for the product launch of LUFTHANSA's new Euro Cabins. The supervising agency was Wundermann.
With the help of 16 extras, the spotlights illuminated the giga-pixel panorama depicting the audience and the catwalk. The production will be on display in a large-scale installation at German airports and is titled 'Dressed for Success'.
Erik and his team also developed and realised the poster motif for Frank-Makus Barwasser's new stage show.
Erwin Pelzig's new tour will kick off in April 2012. You might know him from the TV show 'Neues aus der Anstalt' and his comedy talk show 'Pelzig haelt sich'. As far as the stage is concerned, Barwasser's alter ego 'Pelzig' takes a closer look at things and is on the lookout for vital changes and new ideas.
This is exactly where the idea for the poster motif comes into play. Pelzig posed in front of a huge wind machine, apparently resisting the stormy opposition with his trailing shirt and hat, just like a modern Don Quichotte.
Does the omnipresent and ever-accessible WLAN & Bluetooth phenomenon truly liberate us or are we slaves to the endless possibilities?
Erik Dreyer's most recent photography series, which he developed in collaboration with the AD Martine Praessl, focuses on this. It shows people in the role of puppets and victims, whose identity is determined through smartphones and the iPad.
