MYDEADPONY created the visuals for the LIBRESSE campaign as well as the limited edition tin range for LIBRESSE (Hygiene Brand). The brief was to transform the five senses into feminine colourful illustrations. GoSee shows just how well MYDEADPONY met the brief.
In addition to this, motion designer Damien VIGNAUX animated the illustrations for a LIBRESSE TV commercial broadcast in Eastern Europe. Check out his impressive reel with COLAGENE.
MYDEADPONY was commissioned to create illustrations for Digital Style Notes on STYLE.COM based on collages of imagery from fashion shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Colagene on the illustrator’s work: ‘MYDEADPONY is a self-taught artist whose illustration and watercolour techniques are influenced by fashion, street art and graffiti. Working as a freelance illustrator since 2010, ËLODIE developed her own realistic and poetic style. Although she prefers using traditional techniques, she enjoys experimenting with new ones regularly to try and inject more soul into her illustrations. She is fascinated by fashion and also gets inspiration from the nostalgic universe of her childhood.
Jérôme MIREAULT is from the Province of Quebec, Canada and in Quebec right now, the heat is scarce. He unveils this personal work and explains his approach: ‘to limit the details and to focus on the colours, in order to bring a little cheerfulness because of the springtime that is slow to arrive.’
SHANE, who lives and works in Paris, is a new entry at Colagene. The talented 23-year-old is established in the graffiti scene. Sensitive to the aesthetic around him, and more specifically to graphic design, he has various sources of inspiration: classic painting, 1950s visual style, colours, comics, engraving … His techniques are also diversified and include ink pen, Illustrator, colour pencils, spray paint, paint and Photoshop. GoSee presents a selection of his work, plus a video. His full book can be viewed with COLAGENE.
Raoul PAULET wrote, produced and animated the ‘Le Mystère’ music video for Hugo & The Prismatics: ‘Through a journey of self-discovery a woman explores the meaning of life. Choices, fears, intentions, mistakes. Her feelings are brought to life and populate her imagination. To distinguish what is real from what is not, she has to observe and listen carefully. This is the only way to not get lost....’
