To mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the wall, Franziska von Almsick and Matthias Sammer – representative of the athletes in the former GDR – posed for CHRISTIAN KAUFMANN’s camera in a shoot that would be sent out to every German household as part of Bild newspaper’s special photo edition on 9 November 2014. Hair and make-up artist Doris MARKO c/o ARTISTGROUPMIERAU supported the photographer on set.
