Havas Germany is strengthening its growth agenda and further expanding its leadership team: Sebastian Vermaat has joined the social-driven brand agency as Head of Growth. In this role, he will be responsible for new business development and agency marketing, succeeding Sarah Beier, who recently took over the PR offering Havas Red.
Vermaat has worked on both the client and agency sides and brings extensive local and international experience. He began his career on the client side at BMW before moving to leading agency networks. His previous positions included roles at Grey, Serviceplan, and BBDO Berlin. Most recently, at Serviceplan, he was responsible for marketing and innovation, as well as building and developing international key accounts.
"Sebastian combines strategic thinking with a clear focus on implementation. He understands the needs of clients as well as the dynamics of agencies – and will help us translate our growth targets into concrete milestones and further strengthen our market visibility," says Stephan Lachmann, CEO of Havas Germany.
“New business isn’t a matter of chance, but rather the result of a clear strategy, consistent implementation, and early customer engagement. Havas has a strong foundation for this. I want to build on that and strategically scale growth,” says Sebastian Vermaat, Head of Growth at Havas Germany.
Havas Germany helps brands solve business challenges with communication that is culturally relevant and has a lasting impact: "As a social-driven brand agency, we combine the strategic depth of modern brand management with the dynamism of social and digital culture.
