Ahead Media has launched Mission Flair 2.0 in Germany with the first issue of Flair set for October 2013. The fashion magazine from Italy is available in store from newsagents across Germany. And from the very start, Flair paints a pretty picture indeed with a total of 252 pages, 100 dedicated to fashion and 50 to advertising.
The Berlin based publishing house has opted for fashion in a contemporary yet classic look. New Flair’s regular columns and essays are impressive, as are its large-scale fashion spreads, setting fresh and contemporary accents to the content. Flair offers a promising selection of good writers and great authors. Flair is packed with 100 pages of fashion, 200 looks and 50 pages of internationally exciting fashion stories by Fred Meylan and Paolo Zambaldi, directed by Fashion Editor Ingrid Geringer.
Flair Features Editor Julia Werner tells you what to do if you don’t have any invites to fashion week, Flair Written Contributions Editor Okka Rohd meets the various generations of Prada and author Alissa Walser writes a fairy tale about ‘the man with the bag’.
In addition, HOME magazine has its own section in Flair. It combines design with fashion, trends are identified and brought home – and a visit is even paid to Berlin based designer Michael Michalsky’s new apartment.
Editorial Director Desirée Treichl-Stürgkh summarises Flair in her foreword: ‘Flair, is a matter of course approach to the culture of fashion and design as an expression of our times. Flair has returned as a fashion magazine with a soft spot for design: a universe of objects and thoughts that give pleasure’.
Flair is presented in Hamburg Art Director Carolina Marchiori’s new, sensitive and contemporary layout and is already available on all channels for its launch – an interactive iPad App is available from iTunes, the E-Paper version is on iKiosk. And the NEWS – here on GoSee.
