Fashion photographer Jana Gerberding staged the current campaign for SILHOUETTE EYEWEAR in front of one of Europe's most iconic architectural landmarks: the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
Silhouette stands for precision, innovation, and radical lightness—values directly reflected in Frank Gehry's architecture.
33,000 titanium plates react to light, changing color and appearance throughout the day. Silhouette translates this interplay of movement, precision, and apparent weightlessness into ultra-lightweight eyeglass frames.
The location was deliberately chosen: Since 1997, Gehry's building has been synonymous with the "Bilbao Effect"—the transformation of a city through architecture. High-tech, emotion, and form merge into a single experience. Titanium connects these two worlds—from the flowing facade to the delicate frame. One material, one attitude.
The campaign thinks not only in images but also in perspectives.
Creative direction was provided by Christiane Bördner (The Gaabs).
Jana Gerberding is represented by the agency BIRD PRODUCTION, Berlin - Paris.
