The new series of motifs from the "Your Chemistry" information campaign can now be seen in numerous cities nationwide and online.
Under the motto "FIRST WITH US...", the chemical and pharmaceutical industry is demonstrating its contribution to greater sustainability, climate protection, and quality of life – with innovative solutions that often remain invisible in everyday life, yet are indispensable. The motifs were photographed by Berlin photographer DARIUS RAMAZANI.
You could meet Darius Ramazani in person this year at the UPDATE-25-BERLIN SHOWCASE. Darius is a photographer and director specializing in portraits, people, advertising, and, last but not least, social campaigns.
The German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) represents the economic and policy interests of chemical and pharmaceutical companies in Germany. As a core sector, chemistry is one of the most economically successful industries. Its products and innovations contribute significantly to quality of life and the sustainable development of society. Reason enough for the VCI to engage in public dialogue to advocate for internationally competitive framework conditions for chemical and pharmaceutical companies in Germany.
On the campaign website, we read: "It's no longer a question of whether: It's a question of how. It's about how we respond to the crises of our time – from the energy crisis to the global climate crisis. We, the chemical industry, have therefore set ourselves a major goal: We will operate greenhouse gas neutrally by 2045. Even as an energy-intensive industry, this is achievable. We have been working on this once-in-a-century task for a long time and have demonstrated that, with our innovative strength, we are the driving force behind a comprehensive transformation toward climate neutrality: Since 1990, we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 55 percent. And we're continuing!"
