Julie's grandmother, Willi, for whom her business is named, was a master gardener and instilled in Julie a love of flowers from an early age. Together, they spent the seasons gathering flowers and creating bouquets to decorate their home. Bringing nature indoors became her calling.
Capturing the fleeting beauty of moments and colors and expressing them through the art of floristry quickly developed into a passion. Julie found her niche working on farms and in landscaping, tending the land and creating gardens.
There, she learned about the seasonal blooms of different flowers and was able to experiment with color combinations. Based on her experiences, Julie prefers to use seasonal, locally grown flowers and combines them with wild-foraged California wildflowers. She strives to express the lush and wild landscape in each of her arrangements.
