SALLYHATESWING – the photographer duo opens a poetic space between fashion and art with “Sculpture Garden” for ELLE Hungary

With their series “Sculpture Gardens,” SALLYHATESWING create a minimalist yet sensual homage to form, light, and movement for ELLE Hungary.

The carefully composed images reveal how the body merges with space – and vice versa. Beneath the calm aesthetic lies a subtle tension: through a precise play of shadow, structure, and body language, the creative duo forges a captivating connection between fashion and art. Together with stylist Ionna Auschra, they craft a visual world in which even the everyday – a shirt, a piece of fabric, a silhouette – becomes a medium of expression.

SALLYHATESWING, the artist duo formed by Sarah and Philipp Johann, unites the visual clarity of an art director with the sensitivity of a photographer. The result is a series of vivid, color-driven images that dance between reality and imagination.
