Der in London lebende Fotograf Armando FERRARI, der bereits beeindruckende Reportagen über Amateur Boxen  und Motorcycle Speedway umsetzte, hörte von den Roller Girls von einem Freund : “I was looking to do a project about strong female personalities and perspectives within sport. What’s great about this is that it’s not a girl’s version of a boy’s sport. They just love doing their own thing and aren’t bothered about whether or not you buy into it.” Die Glasgow Roller Derby Mannschaft, die 2015 British Champions wurde, begleitete Armando bei ihrem Einsatz.
