CARL F. BUCHERER : MANERO MINUTE REPEATER SYMPHONY, when advertising becomes art – comprehensive campaign with the world-famous Lucerne Festival Orchestra and exceptional composer Lisa Streich by STILLINMOTION

For its “…extraordinary timepiece, which the company CARL F. BUCHERER… has manufactured since 1888,” the Swiss luxury manufacturer required – from spot, product film, social media clips, print motifs to illustrations – a visual campaign adequate for this outstanding innovative product.

Seen from the acoustic aspect of the watch and the fact that the creation of such a masterpiece, which sets new standards in the area of peripheral technology, is only possible with utmost precision, passion and an interplay of various masters of the craft – the campaign uses the analogy of an orchestral ensemble.

Wrapped in the guise of a mystery campaign, Carl. F. Bucherer also raises the bar in the marketing sector for luxury products through the cooperation with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the soundtrack created especially for this watch by exceptional award-winning Swedish composer Lisa Streich.

Three thrilling short teasers were the first to catch the eye and spark anticipation for what was next. They were followed by targeted releases of core elements of the campaign, including mystery renderings, a big bang spot and a product film. To achieve the greatest possible harmony between image content and music, in contrast to industry-standard scores of existing image sequences, StillinMotion put the music composed especially for the watch and played by the Lucerne Festival Orchestra before the edit and arrangement of the scenes in this production.

All key visuals of the watch and motion sequences were created in full CGI to achieve an artistic visual language, a greater range of focus, stronger close-ups and grant realistic insights into the technology despite pressed keys, the sound of little mallets and a clockwork in motion, which performs so incredibly in the heart of the watch. The publication of the digital creative content for the watch culminated in statements by the artists and behind-the-scenes insight into the production as well as orchestra shots in the form of a making-of film.

About StillinMotion
