The musical "Augustin," which premiered at the 2025 Amstetten Musical Summer, is based on the cult radio play by Wolfgang Ambros, among others. It tells the story of the Viennese folk singer Augustin, who survived a night in a plague pit and became a symbol of joy, resilience, and hope.

The show presented new arrangements of Ambros' hits and combined humor, Viennese charm, and a soulful narrative. The Austrian singer of Filipino descent, Vincent Bueno, played the lead role as Augustin.
