What's important to you? And how do you protect it? These are questions that linger in the back of your mind throughout your life. But when children come into the picture, they become a daily, pressing concern. It's good to have allies: partners, grandparents, aunts, friends... and, last but not least, a good insurance company you can trust.
The agency Ogilvy explored this dynamic in their latest campaign for R+V. Specifically: what does this protection look like? How does it feel? How do you translate it into a campaign? With glossy polish? With glitter? What do you think of when you think of the loved ones in your life? The answer: sensitive, natural, genuine, and approachable.
For the R+V campaign "Because Family Is What Matters Most," photographer Jana Edisonga spent five days in Barcelona, creating a series of campaign images alongside the film production.
"Every family is different – and so is their approach to financial planning. Parents carry a lot of responsibility every day. Emotionally, financially, and often both at the same time. Between work, daily life, and raising children, there's hardly any time left to think about financial planning. Yet, well-thought-out financial planning can make all the difference when it really matters." R+V.
Jana Edisonga's campaign visuals look like they're taken from a family album. Moments you love to remember. Full of closeness, trust, and carefree moments... exactly what you want for your child and your family. They feel authentic and convey, in their sensitive way, that while you can't buy happiness, you can protect it.
R+V Insurance (Raiffeisen and Volksbanken Insurance), headquartered in Wiesbaden, is one of Germany's largest insurers and the central insurance arm of the cooperative financial group Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken.
The production company was Bakery, and on-site service production was provided by Family Productions.
