“Extremely fast, incredibly loud and totally sick – these few words best describe the sport." says photographer Mirko Frank, who accompanied the fastest brothers in Europe one weekend long at Hockenheim Ring. With around 4000PS, brothers Dennis and Timo Habermann drive the ¼ mile in 5.3 seconds reaching speeds of up to 430km/h. It has nothing to do with just driving fast. It is literally and figuratively riding the bullet. “When you are standing at the starting line of a drag strip, and it feels like someone kicked you in the gut – that's drag racing.”
