After the book 'In die Sonne in die Ferne' (In the Sun and Far Away) about the French Route Nationale 7 from Paris to the Cote D’Azur, the next book 'Tausend Meilen Dolce Vita' (A Thousand Miles of La Dolce Vita) by Wolfgang Groeger-Meier has been published. In search of the blue olive trees on the Cote d’Azur and then onward to Italy.

To realize the book, he drove down the route of the Mille Miglia across Italy, where the famous car race from Brescia to Rome takes place. He followed the stretch of the Mille Miglia in a 1960 Porsche 911 to discover what else there was beyond the track. Wolfgang is interested in the stories of the people, about the Lancia mechanics along the route, of the baristas or the innkeepers of the small osterias. He wanted to see the beaches, visit the vineyards – and enjoy la dolce vita in Rimini and Rome. And of course, to cruise through the Toscana on the curvy roads with the iconic sports car. To drink caffè at the bar and simply enjoy Italy. Andiamo Ragazzi! For Italy lovers and oldtimer fans, gourmets and epicureans.
