'There are millions of BMW stories. What’s yours?' It’s been more than 12 years since HelliVentures worked with David Lama for the first time. Since then, the extreme mountain climber has become world champion repeatedly in sport climbing, and he is an extraordinary mountaineer. Recently the movie production company had the chance to have David Lama in front of their camera – on his way into the mountains and behind the wheel of a sporty BMW 4-wheel drive vehicle. The spot for the #BMWstories campaign is shown currently in austrian movie theaters and on the Internet. Executive agency for BMW Austria was Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann, Vienna

About - David Lama was born in 1990. His dad is a mountain guide from Nepal and his mom is an Innsbruck Austria native. David was five years old when Himalaya veteran Peter Habeler first watched him climb in a climbing camp organized by him. Afterwards, Habeler immediately called his parents to tell them that their boy had an unusual talent. Lama then became part of the competition climbing team coached by Reinhold Scherer and Rupert Messner. He became the youngest person to compete at the world cup at age fifteen and the first to win both a lead and the bouldering world cup in his first season. In 2011 he retired from competition climbing and focused on mountaineering. david-lama.com
