MARCUS HOEHN shot portraits of German DJ DIRTY DOERING within the mirrored walls of Berlin’s Dean Bar. Franziska Dominick was booked for grooming. Velten Doering aka Dirty Doering was born 1978 in Leipzig and grew up in the Black Forest in southern Germany. He started his career as a professional DJ at the age of 19 to quickly become a part Berlin’s club and underground scene. Dirty Doering has since spun at the most influential locations, such as Bar 25 and KaterHolzig, and now runs the label “Katermukke”.
The Silom Road in Bangkok is one of the Thai capital's central main streets. The name translates to 'windmill street' – though this pumping vein of the city no longer has anything to do with country flair. The photographic series by MARCUS HOEHN is an investigation into the architecture of this very characteristic street.
MARCUS HOEHN invited the two renowned German actors August Diehl and Alexander Scheer to his studio for a shoot. Alexander Scheer played singer Blixa Bargeld of the band 'Einstürzenden Neubauten' in Oskar Röhler’s film 'Kill the Hippies!! Long Live Punk!'. We have the less loud pictures for you here on GoSee.
