Noch vor Sonnenaufgang ging es für Katarzyna Milewska und das Produktionsteam von Analog Digital auf die Rennstrecke. „4 AM Call Time“ entstand aus der gemeinsamen Leidenschaft für Fotografie und Radsport – und aus dem Wunsch, das erste goldene Licht des Tages für eine sehr eigene visuelle Interpretation des Sports zu nutzen.

Besonders spannend ist die grafische Qualität und Rhythmik der Motive. Wiederholungen, angeschnittene Körper, geometrische Formen und die Dynamik der Fahrräder verdichten sich zu Kompositionen zwischen Sport, Grafik und Abstraktion. Zusammen mit dem warmen Licht der frühen Morgenstunden entwickelt die Serie eine ganz eigene Magie.

Analog Digital: “We recently wrapped a shoot on the racetrack with Kasia Milewska, one of the most exciting and passionate sports photographers we know, and we're thrilled to finally share the shots. We were on set before sunrise to catch the golden hour, and when the light hit the track, it paid off. Some projects are born from a love of the craft, but this one was just as much about a love for the sport. Kasia is an avid cyclist. So is our producer, Zdzich. So is our co-founder, Tom. When the people behind the camera are as obsessed with cycling as the athletes on the track, you feel it in every frame.”
