More than four years ago, actor Daniel Brühl and Ralf Krämer met up with Bryan Adams at Raval, Daniel Brühl's tapas bar in Kreuzberg, where they talked about art, making films and the new paths Daniel Brühl was taking. For the 15th anniversary of ZOO magazine, photographer Sandor Lubbe invited the charming Daniel Brühl once again to a shoot and staged him – not entirely new for Daniel – with cinematic flair from head to toe: From crime story to western, Kerstin HOFFMANN c/o BASICS.BERLIN had the honor of supporting the world-famous celebrity grooming-wise. We have the photos and interview for you on GoSee!
One look at the spread in ICON mag, and it's clear: Haute couture is a great art – and can yet be such a game. The hair & make-up of Gabrielle THEURER c/o BASICS.BERLIN was the perfect complement to the magic of unique gowns by Christian Dior, Viktor & Rolf, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armanie Prive, Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, and Alberta Ferretti. On Paris' Place de la Concorde, Gabrielle Theurer and photographer Kristian Schuller brought fashion to the streets, combining reality with dreams. Model Nimue Smit was styled by Nadia Rath, and the spread can be seen here on GoSee and in the latest issue at welt.de/icon//DIE-AKTUELLE-AUSGABE-VON-ICON
“Floating in the moon’s evening glow like a burning cigarette in your dancing hands.” he said... From subtle understatement to loud bright eyeliner, the fine fabrics shot by photographer Sebastian Donath were staged – hair & make-up by Katharina Handel und Tina Fischbach, both artists c/o BASICS.BERLIN – with an even more 'brilliant glow'. The spread entitled 'Smoking Glow' was published on the fashion blog THE FORUMIST. theforumist.com/smoking-glow

Whether DIY, gardening or household repairs – with just one battery, you can operate an extensive variety of devices. "Meanwhile, the team of Tina Fischbach and photographer Chris Noltekuhlmann have become synonymous with this versatility." goes the original statement from BASICS.BERLIN. BASICS BERLIN new entry Ana Buvinic got started at basics.berlin with big strides: From her publications in relevant fashion magazines to larger commissions for Fossil and Casio, it's all in there. Ana Buvinic recently took care of hair & make-up for the shoot with photographer Sophie Kietzmann. “The spread, which appeared on the Photo Vogue Italia website, is named after the Katonah region where it was created. The wildness and mysticism of the landscape for which the region is known are reflected in the spread,” BASICS.BERLIN tells GoSee. See for yourself.
