“If 16 nations can work together here, then the rest of the world can too” or “There are 7000 languages but only one way to hammer a nail into a wall”. In My 2016, the 15th international Architecture Biennial in Venice began. And for weeks, the German Pavilion in Venice was covered in the powerfully eloquent posters of the DIY retailer HORNBACH. RÜDIGER NEHMZOW shot a motif of the event which has already been published and discussed in various magazines. The agency behind the coup titled 'Global Flag Project' – advertising at the Biennial is not allowed at all – is Heimat with CD Guido Heffels and AD Felix Pfannmüller.
