Photographer CHRISTIAN KAUFMANN tells GoSee “this summer the sun mainly came out of a generator or was built into the background somewhere…” The first players of FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN caught up with Christian for a shoot just as they had returned from their Champions League excursion to London.

Christian jokingly adds "Riva del Garda. A really beautiful area as such, that is if you’re not waiting for the players in some random hall between various set builds. The team got to enjoy the sun in the breaks, but there are actually much less pleasant work places out there too…” The images were used for the year book, autograph cards, the website and much, much more… Antique wood was sourced specially for the new traditional looking football kit and cobbled together as the background.

David Alaba had an extra appointment for HYPOVEREINSBANK. In addition to the TV commercial, various images were shot for numerous posters, cut-outs and POS. There were good vibes all around on set with the Austrian athlete of the year.

Bastian Schweinsteiger also had an additional appointment, this time for a RIGHT GUARD shoot. The smart Bayer player joined in on all the gags in his usual laidback manner; enjoyed plundering the catering and also kept everyone’s spirits up. Basti just as we like him.

Before shooting with the Bayern stars Christian travelled to Madrid to visit Mesut Özil to contribute to the completion of his website. “There was a lot of sun there too. In front of the studio doors that is…” His new site is up now and the next shoots will take place in London. In British drizzle of course.

The shots with TV chef SARAH WIENER were squeezed in too to promote her next book for Gräfe Unzer publishing. “Hamburg. Sun! Finally. After finishing work we even had a late lunch that she prepared specially for the team. Thanks.”

Last but not least he focused his camera on the FC Bayern basketball players. Christian commented: “out comes the ladder, up go the lights and no landscape formats. Photos of the team to follow”. Most likely here on GoSee.
