Their first joint album in 26 years. Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy, and Mutya Buena are the original Sugababes—an incredibly successful British pop and R&B girl group formed in London in 1998. Unlike many other girl bands of the 2000s, they were not a manufactured group assembled through auditions; rather, they came together on their own initiative as the three founding members.

Liz Collins photographed the Sugababes for their new, self-titled album, which is set for release on February 12, 2027.

The Sugababes achieved their first major breakthrough in 2000 with the hit single "Overload." Siobhán left the original trio as early as 2001 following internal conflicts. Various lineup changes ensued—and, if you ask the fans, the "sugar" eventually went missing from the "Sugababes" over time.

Since 2019, the Sugababes have been back together in their original lineup, touring and releasing new music. Following years of legal disputes—during which they performed under the name MKS—the three original founders, Keisha, Mutya, and Siobhán, successfully secured the trademark rights to their original band name.

Coinciding with the album release in February 2027, the trio has announced an exclusive, intimate UK tour for March 2027. Eschewing massive arenas, they are intentionally returning to smaller venues in cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow—a true "full circle" moment.

The first single from the new album, "Ghost," has already been released—watch the video here:
