From Jung von Matt/relations comes gestalt communications. Jung von Matt/relations transforms into gestalt communications. The Cologne based agency of the renowned and much awarded Jung von Matt Group has attracted new partners, repositions itself and has renamed itself into gestalt communications. Christian Schmachtenberg, Fabian Rothe and Melle Pama are the new partners joining Managing Directors Joachim Kortlepel, Lutz Nebelin and Tilman Strauss (Deputy Managing Director), adding power in the field of Communication + Architecture. Joachim Kortlepel: „Communication + Architecture has gained more and more momentum for us in the Marketing-Mix. In past years we have already successfully realised many large National and International fairs presentations. In addidtion, we developed the business of digital brand activation. As NIKON’s Agency of Record we work Europe wide and for International Fairs we reach as far as the Middle East. With Christian, Fabian and Melle, we dramatically increase our creative competence and experience in the field of spatial design, experience and communication and we will strongly focus our Agency, building on those competencies.

Christian Schmachtenberg is an old friend, who worked with the team of Joachim Kortlepel and Lutz Nebelin between 2010 and 2012 as Creative Director. Christian’s career took him past offices like Event Company, Kogag, Totems and most recently MDLab, amounting to 15 years of experience in the field of spatial design, experience and communication. As active ADC member he presides the board of the Research and Development of that organisation.

Fabian Rothe also brings 15 years of experience as Creative in the field of spatial design, experience and communication to gestalt communications. His projects are numerously appreciated and awarded by design awards, nationally and internationally. Aside of his work with Design Company, Milla und Partner, TOTEMS and most recent MDLab/Cheil Worldwide, he was also part of design leadership at Cheil Worldwide in Seoul where he was responsible for more than 150 brand appearances at all major trade shows and EXPOS. Melle Pama, as new Business Director is not only a creative heavyweight of spatial design, experience and communication, but also adds experience on the international stage. During his career, with the likes of Conran and Partners in London, TOTEMS Amsterdam, HAYA Group in Beijing and most recently MDLab/Cheil worldwide, Melle has designed and realised projects for large clients in many parts of the World. Additionally in the specialist field of World Expo, Melle has been involved in the design and realisation of numerous World Expo pavilions. With new Partners and a new focus and direction, a new name has also been chosen fort he agency: Jung von Matt/relations will become gestalt communications.

Lutz Nebelin; „Communication + Architecture, especially with it’s medial and social aspects is not only a segment with a high growth rate, it is also breeding ground for exciting, innovative and creative solutions on the highest level. With our new partners we position gestalt communications as a strong and independent agency for Communication + Architecture in a project-driven market.

It’s all in the name: gestalt communications designs innovative, experiential and exciting spaces for people, brands, products and topics through the consistent combination of and connection between architecture, design, scenography and communication.”

Our decades of communications expertise enables us to create innovative and integrated on- and offline communications solutions. With journalistic experience and know-how, we engage with medial space through targeted Storytelling and can thereby open up experiential spaces even further to the public.”
