About
I'm Collin Croome, an internet and metaverse pioneer and sought-after speaker on future trends like generative AI. For over 30 years, I've guided international companies and brands on their journey into the digital future. Since founding my first digital agency in the mid-1990s, I've implemented more than 800 successful digital projects – from the first website in 1994 to AI and metaverse strategies in Web 3. I inspire enthusiasm for the future. With my visually stunning and inspiring presentations, I have the privilege of captivating thousands of people every year. TV stations like ProSiebenSat.1 and N24 regularly consult me as a digital expert. I share my knowledge in a practical way as a strategy consultant, author, and lecturer.
My first job: Apple - In 1991, I applied to Apple Computer in Munich via floppy disk. The head of marketing at the time found my "multimedia application" intriguing and gave me a chance. The task: At the CeBIT computer trade fair, I was to give a presentation several times a day on the topic of "Apple & Multimedia." The audience and my client enjoyed it, and I discovered my passion for public speaking. For over 11 years afterward, I worked for Apple as a multimedia evangelist, trainer, and speaker at numerous European trade fairs and conferences. Even today, I advise the inventor of the Macintosh and iPhone.
The digital revolution of the 90s - in 1991, there was no formal digital training – so at the age of 19, I became self-employed and simply started… "Learning by doing" is still my motto. In 1992, I developed the first German multimedia seminar for Apple, in which I taught the fundamentals of interactive multimedia and the use of software tools such as Director, Premiere, and Photoshop. At the same time, I developed interactive multimedia applications on CD-ROM and programmed my first websites in the mid-90s (including for Apple, Mustang, and Burda). In 1996, I was one of the first online bloggers (back then called "Internet reporters") to tour with Justin Timberlake & N'SYNC. During this exciting time, I worked as a multimedia consultant and producer for various agencies, publishers, and media companies. This allowed me to play a part in shaping the digital revolution of the 1990s.
My agency: coma2 e-branding - In 1997, I founded my own agency for digital brand management. Over the past 23 years, my fantastic team and I have successfully implemented well over 800 digital projects, online marketing solutions, and social media campaigns. We have always strived for the best possible brand and user experience, as well as the highest aesthetic and technical standards. My agency's clients include well-known international premium brands and companies such as Audi, Hugo Boss, Betty Barclay, JOOP, OLYMP, Triumph, Schiesser, Baldessarini, Microsoft, TUI, and Deutsche Telekom.
