This is also confirmed by owner Alexander Garbe, who acquired the building and transformed it into an exclusive boutique hotel. Garbe, managing director of stilwerk – a renowned platform for design, art, culture, and lifestyle with locations in Hamburg and Düsseldorf – had long envisioned a place where people could not only see but also directly experience the products. This vision led to the creation of two hotels: the stilwerk Hotel Heimhude in the Hamburg district of Heimhude and the stilwerk Strandhotel Blankenese right on the Elbe.
