Photographer Ansgar WERRELMANN staged the avant-garde fashion collection from young designer Franziska Simon. Inspired by the collision of different identities, the designs feature twists, playful freedom with volume and a daring approach to silhouettes. And even Ansgar's photos pick up the topic of 'Encounter' and obscure the boundaries.

Obscure powers seem to be at work in Ansgar's new editorial for PIGAGE magazine. The photographer shot a story on conflict and reconciliation at Schloss Benrath. Marion Strehlow was in charge of selecting the outfits and Sandra Brammer styled the hair and make-up. Ansgar photographed a lingerie spread for Sous magazine in Munich in the studio, with the latest lighting technology provided by Dedo Weigert Film. Oliver Rauh was in charge of styling and Sigi KUMPFMÜLLER c/o FAME perfected the hair and make-up. Model Carmela Bonfiglio posed for Ansgar’s camera.

Ansgar photographed a fallen angel for an editorial in JNC magazine. He also realised the jewellery label STOESS' pieces in sensually elegant pictures.

Finally, he portrayed film and theatre folk for Dieter Wedel: the female players of the Zwingerfestspiele, Fassbinder-veteran and director Ulli Lommel, as well as actress Teresa Weissbach.
