About
Andrea Marzagalli is an Italian creative director in the advertising industry and a fine art photographer. He lives and works in Milan.
He currently works as a creative director at the renowned advertising agency GREY (part of the WPP Group). Before joining Grey, he worked for prominent agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Bcube, and Leo Burnett (Publicis Groupe). In his nearly 20-year career, he has developed campaigns for global brands such as Renault, BMW, MINI, Coca-Cola, DIESEL (for which he received a Cannes Lions nomination), as well as MTV and Telecom Italia.
For decades, Andrea stood behind the scenes, crafting narratives that moved millions. He worked with the most prestigious advertising agencies: places where ideas sparked like electricity and competition bred excellence. With an eye for subtlety and a mind trained in emotional resonance, Andrea helped sculpt the visual language of brands that became household names.
But behind the polished lenses of commercial photography and the tight deadlines of agency life, another passion stirred within him: a deeper form of storytelling. One not confined by briefs or billboards. One told in light, shadow, silence and truth. Photography, once a tool of his profession, became his voice. Andrea began to turn his camera toward the overlooked: quiet glances, forgotten streets, the poetry of imperfection. His lens didn’t just capture; it questioned. What makes a story resonate? What truths live in the ordinary?
