In April 2026, the cosmetics brand L'Oréal announced its partnership with the charismatic Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc. Leclerc is the face of the L'Oréal Men Expert grooming line as well as the brand's hair care and styling products.

This partnership holds personal significance for Leclerc. His mother is a hair stylist, so L'Oréal products were a constant presence in his home throughout his childhood.
“I will always associate L’Oréal Paris with my mother. She is a hairdresser, so I grew up seeing L’Oréal Paris products all around the house and watching the adverts on TV. I am so grateful to have such strong women in my life and am incredibly proud to be joining a brand that stands for female empowerment. I truly believe that men’s strength comes through support and partnership in this mission.” So says Charles Leclerc, newly appointed brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.
The Monegasque racing driver Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc, born in 1997 in Monaco, has been active in Formula 1 since 2018 and is considered one of the most talented drivers of his generation. Since 2019, he has driven for the legendary Italian team Scuderia Ferrari.
“We are thrilled to welcome Charles to L’Oréal Paris. His constant pursuit of excellence, his determination and resilience, coupled with his sensitivity, his curiosity, his groundedness, and his empathy, are a great example and inspiration. And that is exactly the kind of role model the world needs today.
Charles not only represents a hugely aspirational figure, but he embodies our belief that women's empowerment is not a women-only fight. It becomes real when men and women stand strong together.” Laetitia Toupet, L’Oréal Paris Global President.
Charles began his career in karting at the age of just three and a half, inspired by his father, Hervé Leclerc, himself a former Formula 3 driver. After a highly successful karting career, he quickly progressed through the junior categories. In 2019, his childhood dream came true. He became Sebastian Vettel's teammate and the second-youngest driver in Ferrari history. At the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix, he celebrated his first emotional Grand Prix victory.
