Henry Jen loves Art, Design, Film and Photography. Originally more interested in the arts, Henry put together many exhibitions including some group shows featuring high profile New Zealand artists Nigel Brown, Philip Clairmont, Pat Hanly, Ralph Hotere and Terry Stringer. Moving forward, Henry quickly entered in the world of commercial photography, even winning some awards from Cannes and D&AD. Following his passion of wanting to create compelling advertising campaigns, Henry spends his time traveling between Singapore, Taipei, Shanghai and New Zealand.
More recently Henry started on a new journey that took him into the world of directing. With his experience as a photographer, Henry is able to weave stories as a director but through the trained eyes of a DOP thereby providing stimulating frames and angles. Always a team player, Henry is a firm believer in collaborations + teamwork and nothing excites him more than building a rapport with all involved in any project. Most importantly... Let’s all enjoy the moment and breathe life into ideas.
